Crown Reductions

Reducing the height and spread of the crown of a tree, crown reductions allow more light into a space and reduce the potential sail effect of the wind.

Crown Thinning

Removing selected branches from the canopy to increase light levels and reduce the sail effect. This does not usually reduce the height or spread of a tree.

Tree Felling

Sometimes the whole tree has to be removed if it has become dangerous or diseased. Working in London we are used to taking trees down in confined spaces.

Stump Grinding

Once a tree is felled you may choose to have the stump removed. Stump grinding uses a machine to remove the stump to below ground level, for aesthetic reasons or to allow for replanting.

Tree Planting

Where possible it’s always a good idea to replace a felled tree. There are many species to choose from and we can help you choose the right one for you and your space.

Planning Applications

If you live in a conservation area or your tree has a tree preservation order (TPO) on it we will need to submit an application to the local authority before we can do any work. We usually do this for our clients.

Tree Survey/Reports

You may need a written report assessing the health or condition of your tree. We are qualified for Professional Tree Inspection (PTI), Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) and Visual Tree Assessment (VTA). We can survey any size site, from small gardens to big construction sites.

Firewood

Any wood we can’t reuse or recycle gets chopped into logs for burning.
